- Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associates in Early Childhood Education (preferred but not required)
- Pennsylvania State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education Required

Edison is always accepting applications for future hires. Two years of experience working with children is required. Great job for college students majoring in education or related field and seeking experience in the field of early childhood education. Bachelor's Degree in Education is required for head Pre-Kindergarten teachers.
Educator Requirements:
- Prior knowledge of the Department of Human Services is not required but appreciated
- The candidate must hold a minimum of a high school diploma with at least two years of experience documented experience working with children in childcare or another closely related setting.
- An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Family Studies, or other closely related field is preferred.
- The candidate must submit the following documents, prior to an interview, in order to be considered for a position:
- Health Assessment & TB Test (less than one-year-old)
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
- Criminal Background Check Clearance
- Child Abuse Clearance
- National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Clearance

In addition to the above documents, the candidate must also submit two letters of reference, a high school diploma and/or college diploma/college transcripts, and proper identification.
